Eliot Waterson has had a deep-seeded fear of water ever since his father tragically drowned. But now his mother insists that he join the high school crew team. And when Honor Roberts, one of the most popular boys in school, presents Eliot with the challenge to bring a gift to a girl across the river, he is suddenly forced to face his darkest fear.
Can Eliot and Honor form an unlikely bond and help each other find the courage to choose their own paths? Find out in this heart-warming, coming-of-age story.

Ural Grant
Ural Grant [Eliot] (he/him) is an award-winning theater artist and educator. He has toured across the tri-state area in numerous shows geared towards young audiences and is particularly passionate about community engagement and arts education. Ural has led workshops on nonviolence, peer pressure, and communication through Tennessee Shakespeare Company’s Romeo and Juliet Project. Through a leadership fellowship with New York City Children's Theater, he developed an arts education program that used devised theater as a tool to help empower and free young African American males to tell their stories and construct their identities. Ural strives to bring joy and ignite positive, impactful experiences for young people in his community; and is thrilled to be making his ART Station debut!

Luis Hernandez
Luis R. Hernandez [Mr. Roberts] (he/him) returns to ART Station after playing a variety of people in Rosemary Clooney's life, including her sister, in the production of Tenderly a few years ago. You may have seen him perform in other theatres in Atlanta, such as 7 Stages, Actor's Express, Atlanta Lyric, Aurora Theatre, Dad's Garage, Georgia Ensemble, Horizon Theatre, Synchronicity, Théâtre du Rêve, The Object Group and The Shakespeare Tavern among others. He is also a puppeteer at the Center for Puppetry Arts, and from time to time he portrays Ricky Ricardo in the Lucy & Ricky Tribute Show. His film and TV credits include Superman 2025, The Underdoggs, Swarm, Candy, Florida Man, NCIS: New Orleans, Devious Maids.

Nate Jenkins
Nate [Honor] (he/him) is very excited to be performing here with ART Station for the first time! You may have seen him in the metro Atlanta area recently as J.Finch and others in Puffs at Onstage Atlanta, or as Robin in Red Phoenix theatre's production of Something Rotten! He’s excited to be able to show his range here in Honor and the River and would like to thank his AWESOME friends and family who have and will no doubt continue to support him!

Ithica Tell*
Ithica Tell [Wawa] (she/her) is a classically trained Actor, Singer and Voice Artist. She made her Atlanta debut in 2022 as Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins (Aurora Theatre). Her vast resume includes Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Mazeppa in Gypsy, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Othello in Othello. Her Television appearances include Grimm, The Librarians, The Benefits of Gusbandry, and Life After First Failure. Film credits include Raging Midlife, critically acclaimed The Last Champion and Losing Addison. Ithica is lead singer of the band Tell Short Gray and is featured on the album Northeast Pacific.

David Thomas
David Timothy Thomas [he/him] (Director, Founder, President, Artistic Director) David founded the ART Station Contemporary Arts Center and Theatre Company over 39 years ago. He has directed over 400 theatre productions for ART Station, led the Artistic Direction for hundreds of art exhibitions and has provided the direction for the award-winning summer arts camp and the summer performance programs. He is the founder of A TOUR OF SOUTHERN GHOSTS, a storytelling festival held at Georgia’s Stone Mountain Park. David is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb, the IBM Leadership Institute and the Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta. He has served on the advisory panels of the DeKalb Council for the Arts, the Fulton County Arts Council, South Arts, the City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts. David’s formal theatre training is from the North Carolina School of the Arts, a BA degree in theatre from Appalachian State University, two Master of Fine Arts degrees in theatre directing and arts administration from Virginia Tech School of Theatre and Cinema. David serves on the faculty of the theatre program at Georgia Military College, (Stone Mountain campus). davidt@artstation.org.

Michael Hidalgo
Michael Hidalgo [he/him] (Co-Founder, Producing Director/Scenographer) is one of the original founders of ART Station and has served as the resident designer for the past 38 seasons. Michael oversees the marketing, development & general management of the organization. He is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb, the Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta and a Virginia Tech Alumni. michaelh@artstation.org.

Jeanne Fore
Jeanne Cwiklik Fore [she/her] (Costume Designer) is happy to be back in the swing of things at ART Station. Her recent credits inlude The Savannah Sipping Society, Honky Tonk Angels, Pin Up Girls, Ann, and many more. Jeanne has designed for the Alliance Theater for the Very Young’s A Child’s Garden of Verses, The Tortoise and the Hare, and Waiting for Balloon. She also has many years wardrobe experience in ballet, opera and theater. She is very passionate about theater education and advocating for arts education in schools. When not at the theater, Jeanne is at home with her husband Howard, daughter Teagan and son Turner.

Liza Jaine
Liza Jaine [she/her] (Marketing Director) has a professional theatre career that spans over 30 years including a dozen award winning productions, 3 national tours, and two world premieres. She graduated cum laude from Columbia University and summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University. She holds a brown belt in Muay Thai, trained with SWAT instructors to master on screen police proce-dures, has a love of wire work, and one day wants to learn to be a stunt driver, though parallel parking continues to vex her. Liza is mother to an incredible child named Wyatt who challenges her every day to do the best she can.
